Worked in State Bank of India as an officer for 5 years in combined State of Andhra Pradesh and later joined Indian Revenue Service and completed 32^1/2 years of service. In the Income Tax Department, worked not only in Andhra Pradesh (Vijaywada, Visakhapatnam, Rajhamundry and Hyderabad), but also in Bangalore, Madurai and Delhi in various capacities i.e., from Assistant Commissioner to Chief Commissioner. Finally Superannuated on 30th of April in Hyderabad as Chief Commissioner of Hyderabad, having jurisdiction over AP, TS, Odisha.
